1. Type: floating dock, steel welded construction, self-docking, autonomous, U-shaped, with deadrise bottom of pontoon
2. Purpose: drydocking and all sorts of repair of underwater parts of the vessel, including emergency repair
3. General description: docks consists of 4 independent pontoons, which welded by 2 side towers. Each pontoon is divided into 4 ballast tanks by 3 horizontal waterproof bulkheads. Each tower is divided by cross waterproof bulkheads. The dock is self-docking, which allows to dock separate pontoons at remaining part of the dock for repair work. The dock is supplied with Diesel-Generators, which allows making repair and docking without power from shore. Pontoons are built with cross frame system. Frames have spacing 1500 mm. Distance between cross bulkheads 5000 mm.
4. Decks: in towers – 2 decks – gear deck (top deck) and safety deck. Gear deck is for setting cranes and staging. Safety deck is for prevention from the dock immersion below allowed minimum. Safety deck (portside) covers following departments and rooms – spare parts, WC, bathroom, main switchboard, transformers for life conditions, welding device, electric engine of fire pump, pouring pump, compressor of high pressure, diesel-generators room, boiler room, first motor room. Safety deck (starboard) covers – electric workshop, 4th motor room, mechanics workshop, 2nd motor room. Living accommodations are located at platform. Top deck covers – 2 x capstans, 1 x crane, lighters, keel-blocks, moorage equipment, etc.
